This is an introductory book on cryptography for programmers. It starts with XOR and one-time pads and gradually explains symmetric encryption, public-key encryption, hashes, MACs, signatures, key exchange, random numbers and other cryptography 'building blocks', and assembles them into real systems such as TLS, OpenPGP and OTR.
